Gifts by will

 

Gifts by will are one of Musicopia's most important sources of individual support. Bequests of this kind provide stability and assurance that equitable access to music and dance education in our region will live into the future. A bequest can be made in the form of a specific gift of cash or a percentage of the remainder of an estate. The latter allows more flexibility in planning.

 

Below is sample language for a will or bequest gift that you can share with your financial advisor or add to your will:

 

I give to Musicopia, a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, organized and existing under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the sum of $___________   [or _______ % of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate] to be used for its general purpose.
