MSO auditions for new students only. Auditons are open to student string players ranging in age from 8 through 17 years. (exceptions made for advanced younger students).  

Students are selected and placed by the artistic staff according to musical ability and maturity.

Annual tuition for the 2010-2011 season is $300.00 plus $50.00 registration fee.  Financial aid is available for qualified applicants.

Audition requirement

 

Students should be prepared to play the piece that they're working on as well as a scale, and will be asked to sight-read a short passage.
